Take Me Out to the Ball Game...

We took Mabry to her first baseball game (minor league) on Monday night. We got to see the Frisco Roughriders beat the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. It was such a nice night for a fun family outing. We got lawn tickets so we were able to lay our blanket down, watch the game, and let Mabry play. She enjoyed the people, the lights, the jumbo-tron, and, of course, the baseball! Daddy caught a homerun ball for her, barehanded! He's so tough! 

It was a great night! We look forward to raising her as a little baseball fan!

Swimming is So Much Fun!

Mabry loves to swim so we make sure we go as often as we can. It is a lot of fun to watch her splash with her arms and kick her legs. I know that she will be a good swimmer as she gets older. I think she will pick up on it fast and take off. We are cherishing the sweet momentsright now that she needs to hang on to us in the pool. We love seeing her enjoy the water!

Daddy took Mabry swimming one night after work last week.

Last Tuesday, we had a play-date with Pam and Grayer at our neighborhood pool.

This past weekend, Mabry and I met Granddad and Grandmother in Texarkana. Mabry got to swim with them at the hotel. We had a great time with them!

Our Little Monkey Loves Bananas!

Mabry has shown us that she is very efficient eating with her hands as she eats Gerber Puffs and her Baby Mum-Mums. Tonight we decided to see how she would do with bits of banana. Although a little slimy, she caught on fast and began shoveling them in her mouth. Mabry now has a couple of teeth on the bottom front and mashes the bananas with her gums before she swallows. Our baby girl is growing fast!

7 Months Old

Mabry is 7 months old today! She is growing up fast! Chad and I are so blessed to have such a fun little girl. At 7 months old, she has mastered being spoon fed. She is Miss Roly-Poly rolling all over the floor to get places. She is our little social butterfly. She loves attention. She enjoys her voice and the lungs she has to make it heard. She has so much fun in water whether it is bath-time, the pool, or the ocean. She is good at tipping her toy basket and getting all her toys out. There are many, many other little ways Mabry shows us she is her own little person. We hope you get to get a taste of her sweet little  personality soon!

Florida 2009

This past week we got the chance to spend a beach vacation with my dear friend Rebekkah and her family at Panama City Beach, Fl. It was so refreshing to hang out together. We had wonderful weather for wonderful beach days. Mabry loved the beach and the water. I am so impressed with her 'go-with-the-flow' personality. She is usually up for anything! We had a great week and some quality family time.
