Balloon Festival

This past weekend, we went to the Annual Plano Balloon Festival. It was such a neat experience. I don't think Mabry knew what to think about the huge hot air balloons floating in the sky around her. We enjoyed spending time with our friends, Grant, Farron, and Gavin. Mabry and Gavin are only a couple of months apart and like to play and chatter back and forth with each other. 

Of course, with any festival like this, you have to partake in the the yummy 'fair' food.

Family

Life is a Beach!

At least it was last week for us...

We got to go on a family vacation with my parents, siblings, and their spouses this past week. We all met in Seagrove Beach, FL. We got to stay at a house that is right on the beach. We had an amazing view and wonderful weather while we were there! Here is a glimpse of our crystal clear, calm water... I relax just looking at it now!

Mabry with Granddad and Grandmother

                 Mabry enjoyed spending time with her aunts and uncles. They did a great job spoiling her!

While Mabry spent the day with Granddad, we got to go on a 7 hour deep-sea fishing trip. Out of five of us, we caught 32 fish that we could keep. We had to throw several fish back because they were too small including the SHARK I caught. Fishing is a lot of work! We had a good time even though the boat in motion didn't agree with Chad. ; )

The best parts of the trip were the exceptional weather, water, and beach as well as the amazing view from the porch at our house. What a wonderful vacation!!
