Let's Go Rangers, Let's Go!

We love having a MLB team in our area, especially American League champions! :) It looks like they are on their way to another winning season so we wanted in on the action! We went to a Ranger game on Monday night and paid $4 for each of our tickets by taking advantage of a 'pay the day' promotion they had. It was April 4th so we paid $4 for upper level seats. We thought this was a great way to go as a family, low key and not a lot of money spent.

Our seats were at the very top, but it was perfect for us and we still had a great view of the field and jumbo-tron. Check out the Cowboy's Stadium in the background. What a view!

Mabry did great! She loved the ball game, the food, and the people. Just like her momma! 

Miss M is a great little cheerleader. Her favorite being the chant, 

"Let's go Rangers, let's go!" (clap, clap). 

A Trip to the Zoo

Last week, Mabry, Grandmother, and I took a trip to the Memphis Zoo! We met some dear friends there all the way from Kentucky! My best friend and old college roommate, Rebekkah, met us at the zoo with her little ones, Caleb (3), Reid (2), Camryn and Rheagan (7 months) along with her mom, mom-in-law, and grandmother. Lots of helping hands! It was a great crowd to be with and a beautiful day for the zoo.

Mabry loved all the animals. It is so much fun to hear her tell stories about the animals, what they were doing and eating when she was at the zoo. As much as she loved the zoo, I think she loved helping take care of Camryn and Rheagan more. She is such a little mommy!

We had a great time and would love to make this an annual trip. 

I can only dream of the fun we would have if Rebekkah and her family lived closer!
