Clark is 11 Months!

Clark turned 11 months old this month. We are only a couple of weeks away from the big birthday for our sweet boy! It has been so much fun to see him grow. His personality really shines now. 

Finally, at 11 months, Clark has decide to crawl! He has really begun to explore his surroundings going from room to room and toy to toy. His favorite thing to do these day is play ball. If you are around him very long, you will most definitely hear him say "ball." I am amazed at how well he communicates these days. I guess I just expect him to be the baby he is growing away from. 

Clark Meets Santa

 Clark got to meet Santa a few days ago. As you can see from the picture, he wasn't too sure about it but did not cry until after the picture was taken. :) 

 Clark's visit with Santa was a success compared to Mabry's first meeting. Until this day, she wants nothing to do with sitting on Santa's lap, let alone looking at him. She is not a fan!

Thanksgiving 2012

 We spent time with the Beasley side of the family this year for Thanksgiving hosted at our house.

Clark and Mabry had a lot of fun with Grandmother, Granddad, aunts and uncles, and, of course, Baby Nathan!

 Chad and I along with Alex and Kim took part in the North Texas Turkey Trot in Frisco on Thanksgiving morning. What a great way to get a jump start on burning the calories of the yummy meal to come!

Happy Halloween 2012

We have done so much this year to celebrate this time of year! 

We have had a lot of fun dressing up and getting candy every time we turned around! :)

 We went to pumpkin patches...

 We had fun at the Halloween party at Chad's office...

So much fun at our church's Fall Festival...

We couldn't get these two out of the bounce houses!

 Then we went on to a costume party with our adult fellowship group from church...

 Chad and Mabry won the costume contest! 

Her wig and his hat were the winning touches they needed!

New Car Seats

 Mabry got a new car seat while Clark got a 'new-to-him' car seat. I was informed at Clark's 9 month doctor appointment that he had probably outgrown his infant carrier and sure enough, he had. I went as soon as I could to get Mabry a 'big girl car seat' so that Clark could have her seat. 

I think they are both pleased with their new arrangements. 

These kids need to be comfy and safe in the car because we love to travel! 

The Pumpkin Farm

 We had a great time at our local pumpkin farm. It was great weather. We had fun friends with us and it wasn't too crowded.

This is one of many attempts to get both Mabry and Clark smiling and looking at the camera. :)

A Girlie Party

 Mabry got to go to her friend Gracie's birthday party this past weekend. It was her first 'girlie' party to attend. She ate it up! Mabry got to play with friends while partaking in her favorite activities. 

She got to sing and dance!

 She got her hair fixed with 'pixy dust' and a bow!         

She got her fingernails painted pink AND blue!

   She picked out her dress too...

Clark is 9 Months Old!

Well, with this post, it blatantly shows that it has been a month since I have posted...Sorry!

 Clark is such a happy 9 month old!

If I could describe him in one word at this stage, it would be Content.

 Check out his hair! We have our next cut arranged. :)

 At his 9 month check up, Clark weighed 23.3 lbs (92%), was 29.3 inches (83%), with a head circumference of 18.8 inches (98%). 

New this month: 

He has 2 bottom teeth poking through. 

He is transitioning to 3 bottles a day. 

He is now using his fingers to pick up food as he transitions to table food.

He has his first cold right now.

With all these transitions, I see him transitioning into a little boy!

Clark is 8 Months Old!

 Our little guy is now 8 months old!

 A little about our 8 month old: 

-He is eating baby food 3 times a day with 4 bottles. He loves snacking on crackers and MumMums.

-He is in a size 4 diaper.

-Most days, he wakes around 6:45 a.m., takes 2 naps, and goes to bed around 7:30 p.m. 

-He is content sitting in one place. He is showing no signs of trying to become mobile, which is fine by me :).

-He still has a sweet gummy grin. No teeth yet. 

-He has an adorable 'Silly face' that if you catch him in the right mood, he will do on demand.

-He thinks it is hilarious to pull Mommy's hair. 

-He is super attached to his blankie so it goes with him everywhere. (We have 2 that we switch out.)

-He loves to play ball... He loves to throw things. He might possibly be a pitcher or quarterback in the making. He chunks anything and everything within his grasp.

He's our precious 8 month old boy!
