A Haircut with a Bonus

I took Mabry to get her haircut at 'Cuts for Kids.' She was overdue for a trim. Little did I know that you couldn't just get a simple haircut there. They had a whole package that included lots of little treats.

 So Mabry was in for one big treat with this haircut!

 She had her hair washed with chocolate smelling shampoo and water that tickled. 

She loved sitting in the Barbie jeep watching Dora. She was not even aware that her hair was being cut.

 Then she got to have it styled. The hairdresser gave her two cute braids with purple sparkle clips.

 Then she got the big bonus... Her first time to have her nails polished! I was so proud of the subtle color she picked (pale pink sparkle) and how still she sat. Then she got sparkle star stamps on the back of her hands. She was fascinated!

 Here's my beautiful girl showing off the finished product.

 She left with a big smile on her face, a fresh haircut, sparkle nails and stamps, along with a balloon, a lollipop, and a green sparkle ring. 

What a special treat for our sweet, special girl!

Donuts with Dad/1st Play-date

 This week, Mabry's school had 'Donuts with Dad.' What a great thing for the kids and their dads (and the moms too!) Chad got to take Mabry to school and eat yummy chocolate donuts with her and her friends. They both told me how fun it was.

 On the same day, Clark had his first play-date!
He got to play with Hayes (4 1/5 mos.). 

Hayes's mommy, Pam, got them adorable matching outfits just for this occasion. The cool thing is that Mabry's first play-date was with Hayes's big bro Grayer.  Hayes and Clark, like their big siblings, will get lots more playtime together.

 After all the fun playing, Clark tuckered out in the middle of the floor. 

Oh, to sleep like a newborn!

Happy 3rd Birthday Mabry!

 Mabry turned 3 on the 7th! It's hard for me to believe that I now have a big 3 year old!!

He's Here!!

 We are so excited to introduce Clark Alan Huffman to the blog world! 

He was born Monday, January 2nd, 2012. He was 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 inches long. He is perfect!

Baby Clark's Room

I finally took pictures of Clark's room to share. I am so excited about the way it turned out. It's perfect!

 We have a slight baseball theme going. Notice the World Series pennant along with the Norman Rockwell poster "Choosing Up." These were both great additions to his room thanks to my dad.
