Texas Bluebonnets

I love these pictures! So glad we were able to capture this time in our lives. The bluebonnets are the perfect picture prop to create beautiful pictures.

Clark is 15 Months Old!

Clark is now 15 months old!
He is becoming a 'big boy' more and more every day! He communicates so well and has several words with his vocabulary growing almost daily.
He is such a delight in our family.
He is my little social bug, definitely an extrovert. He lights up when he knows that we are going out. He will tell anyone and everyone 'hi' and 'bye'. He is also generous with blowing kisses. Muah!
Gotta have a snack while waiting for the doctor :).
At Clark's 15 month well check-up, he weighed 24.5 lbs (73%). He is 32 inches tall (80%). He has begun to slim up. This, however, may be due to the challenging eating habits he is trying to create. Mommy and Daddy have got to figure out what he likes to eat. Also, our other big challenge is providing the motivation to make him want to walk! He only has to want to and I know he can do it!
Our sweet boy has a fun personality of his own! I am really looking forward to what the summer has in store for us!

Easter Fun!

We had a lot of fun this Easter with friends. As Mabry gets older, the festivities become more fun.
We dyed eggs...
We went to church on Sunday morning and learned more about the hope we have knowing Jesus is not in the tomb. He is risen! Mabry tells the resurrection story in the sweetest way.
The kids got Easter baskets filled with goodies...
Clark was not feeling too good dealing with all the gunk from a cold so he and Chad stayed home while Mabry and I headed to church.
Later that afternoon, we had some new friends of ours over to our house to celebrate Easter with us.
Mabry and Lucy have a lot of fun together.
This grin should melt your heart like it does mine...
We had an egg hunt in the front yard for the girls. We had such great weather!
The girls were sweet enough to let their little brothers help go through their eggs.
Even though, we were not with family this Easter, we are so blessed to have great friends to spend the holiday with.
