Mabry's 1st Christmas Morning

Here is a glimpse of Mabry's first Christmas morning. Santa came to Grandmother's house.

Pulling Up!

Mabry has gotten really good at pulling up everywhere she can! These are pictures I got of her at her favorite places to show off her skill.

San Antonio with Grandmother and Granddad

We got to spend the weekend with my parents in San Antonio. We enjoyed the 'touristy' aspect of the weekend. We got to walk through the Alamo, take a boat tour, eat at some good restaurants, and relax in between. It was very cold that weekend which is totally uncharacteristic of San Antonio. We just bundled up and headed out!

Mabry Meets Santa

We took Mabry to meet Santa... She was terrified! We first tried sitting her on his lap, and as soon as she looked up and saw him, she screamed. I then tried to make it better by holding her and standing between them. This still wasn't good enough. Santa was just scary to her. We went to the Bass Pro Shop Santa. It was a wonderful and FREE set up. We got a free 4 x 6 picture that captures this memorable moment. This is Mabry and Annabelle after Mabry calmed down a bit. As you can see, she still was not fully recovered. My sweet, poor baby!

Thanksgiving and Christmas All-in-One

This past weekend, the Huffman family celebrated both Thanksgiving and Christmas together in one day. With a large family that is spread across two states, it is difficult to find a time where we can all be together. And since Brad and Rhonda are expecting Baby Harris anytime, we all came to them in San Antonio. We had a wonderful traditional dinner with ham, turkey, dressing, and all the fixings. We then opened Christmas gifts and topped the evening off by loading up together to see Christmas lights at a drive-thru park, Santa's Ranch. Mabry enjoyed her first bit of Christmas. She helped tear open the paper on some of her gifts. We have learned that she loves Christmas ham and corn casserole! I am so excited to share this Christmas season with Mabry!

The Big 3-0!

Chad and his brother Brad turned 30 on November 28th! We celebrated at a restaurant in San Antonio with the whole Huffman clan. It was so much fun being with family and having a party for their special day. The evening began with some competitive bowling where Chad would love to share that he bowled a 201! We then surprised them at the restaurant with decorations and cakes. 

Thanksgiving at Mammaw's

We got to enjoy an early Thanksgiving in Monticello at Mammaw Florence's home. We had a whole lot of wonderful food and desserts! It was so good to be with family that we do not get to see that often! 

Mabry enjoyed playing with her cousins Kate (9 months), Blake (4 yrs), and Haley (11 yrs).
