Cousins!

I love this picture! It was the best one taken out of 26! Well worth it!
This picture was taken over Thanksgiving but could not be shared until now because it was one of Mammaw and Pappaw's Christmas presents. Aunt Niki did a great job printing it to 8x10 and framing it to make it the perfect gift.

Christmas in the Square

We had a wonderful time today at Frisco Square! They have a wonderful light show, fake snow, specialty venders, bounce houses, and even Santa! Mabry loved dancing to the music and eating her pink popcorn from Love Peace Popcorn.
We definitely want to make sure this is something we do every year. It's great for the family and you can't help but feel Christmas in the air!
(The flash on my camera is not working so we tried to do our best without it. Hopefully, the pictures aren't too dark to be enjoyed.)

Special Friends

Over the week of Thanksgiving, we got to see some dear, special friends of ours, Rebekkah, John Paul, and thier little ones, Caleb (3), Reid (20 months), Camryn and Rheagan (2 1/2 months). Rebakkah was my roommate in college and still remains as my best friend. Since they live in Kentucky, we usually only get to see them a couple times a year. We cherish the time we have with them. It was so great to meet the precious girls and catch up with Rebekkah. We even got to have a shopping trip while the guys kept the kids. Mabry had a great time with the babies. Below, she got to hold one of the babies and thought she was so big. She still talks about it and calls her two babies Camryn and Rheagan.

Is it Christmas Time Yet?!

It is at the Huffman house!
Yes, we put up our tree this weekend! We wanted to make sure we would have plenty of time to enjoy our Christmas decorations. Like my mother, I say we will start a tradition. Whether we put our tree up in November or December, we will watch a Christmas movie while decorating and then eat chicken and dumplings. Our first year of tradition worked out great! Mabry loves the Christmas tree and baby Jesus in my nativity set.
We watched a Veggies Tales Christmas movie last night, Mabry's choice.

Purple Baby

Mabry loves her 'Purple Baby.' She sleeps with it and eats with it and everything in between. You ask her what her baby's name is and she will say "Purple Baby." She has become such a little mommy recently. She rocks her baby, sings to it, changes its diaper, feeds it, pushes it in the stroller, and puts it to sleep in the baby bed with 'baby covers.' I love it!

A Yabba Dabba Doo Time!

Meet the Flintstones!
This year for Halloween, our family along with our dear friends, Pam, Paxton, and Grayer took on the Bedrock theme dressing as the Flintstones and the Rubbles. Pam and I had a lot of fun making the costumes then enjoying them with our families. We were able to wear them to 3 different fall festival events. So much fun! We're so thankful for such fun friends!

At our church's fall festival, we entered in the costume contest. We got 3rd place! Here we are on stage as we receive our award. : )
And most of all, you've got to love the inspiration for the costumes, Bam Bam and Pebbles!
Grandmother came for  the weekend to join in on the fun!
We're so glad she got to take part in all the fun we had!

Pumpkin Patch!

We got to go to a local pumpkin patch today. This makes Mabry's third pumpkin patch. Her Grandmother and Granddad took her to a good ol' pumpkin patch in Arkansas this past weekend. As you'll also see in the pictures, Mabry got her first haircut this past weekend too. There are several pictures to this post. Enjoy! We had a great time! Our girl loves the 'punkin patch'!
She thinks Grayer is hilarious!
We had a new friend, Elijah, join us today. He is in class on Wednesday morning with Mabry and Grayer while his Mommy is in Bible Study with Pam.
Petting the sheep while Mommy feeds them.
The longhorn says "Moo!"
Loving the hayride!
She picked out her pumpkin.
See...
I love my Little Pumpkin!
