Today was Mabry's first day of preschool. She will be going one day a week from 9 - 2. It is a great time for Mabry to learn proper socialization (ie. sharing) and many more new things. It is also a time for me to get things done that are difficult on toddler time. I am excited to see how much she grows and learns over this next school year! School is great for both Mabry and Mommy!
On her first day, Mabry had little difficulty being left in her classroom. She clung to me for a minute but their were no tears. When I picked her up this afternoon, she was happy to see me. She received her first award on her first day! She was the 'Chapel Angel of the Day.' She got to wear a pair of wings and help out in chapel. I also got a little card that told me a little about Mabry's day. I was excited to see that she slept on her nap mat from 12 to 1:20! I was worried that she wouldn't sleep at all! Mabry is usually a good eater so I was surprised to see that she barely ate her lunch. I'm afraid, knowing her, she was so very concerned about what everyone else was doing. I'll try to pack more exciting food next week!

Oh my goodness, she is growing up! Uncle Alex and Aunt Kimmy cannot wait to see her!!
I was thinking this was coming up soon! I'm so glad she did well...and I'm sure mommy enjoyed the day just as much :) My mom always says that a little time away is good for mommy and good for baby - the reunion is so sweet :) Glad you're both getting some "me time" :)
