Sparkly Teeth

Mabry had her first dentist appointment on July 12th.
For some reason, she had some anxiety about it. We got there and they had a cool beach themed waiting room with a play area and a cool multi-color lit water wall. She and Clark were both fascinated with that for a while.
After waiting 40 minutes in the waiting room (!!) We finally got to go back and let the fun begin. Mabry was cautious when it was her turn to lay on the table. She clung to me but we were able to gradually let her lay by herself while I just held her hand. The dentist, Dr. Jon, counted her teeth then brushed them with the pretty toothbrush Mabry got to pick.
All-in-all, it was a good visit. Dr. Jon said that there were 4 teeth that he wanted to keep an eye on as she grows. She goes back in January. Mabry did great once she got used to the idea. We were told that they wished they had more patients like her.
She was very proud of her 'sparkly teeth' and the prizes she got to take home. She now loves to brush her 'sparkly teeth' and asks quite often if they are still 'sparkly.'
However, she is not sure she wants to go back. Good thing we have 6 months to gear up for it!
(By the way, we got a personal email from the dentist sincerely apologizing for our wait. He explained that they had an emergency that caused the abnormal delay. He mailed us a gift card because he felt so bad.)
